So, there was this new partwork, right? And it had free needles with it, and a lovely pattern for a scarf which I really liked. And I was away from home and didn’t have any other knitting with me. And then there was a trip to Hobbycraft and this lovely, lovely smooth variegated blue yarn. I couldn’t fight it. :)

EDIT: When I finally went back to this one I made a gigantic cock up early on, dropped several stitches and couldn’t work out how to recover it, so frogged it in a temper. You win some, you lose some.
