Notes

With 6mm needles I got the 16 x 26 gauge in the round. Oddly enough I needed 5.5mm needles to get the 18 x 25 gauge in the round.

Finished the waistband. It’s 2” tall x 7-1/4” wide. The circumference is 15”. I’m going to make an icord drawstring for the waistband and if not needed to hold up the skirt it can be removed or used for decorative purposes only. I made it 36” long as stated in the pattern. It weighed 4g.

I needed to knit 5 rounds of the grape yarn plus the round on the needles to get to 1” before switching to the off white for one round. I’ll knit the remaining colour changes with the same amount of rounds between them.

Done the skirt and it’s 6-1/4” long, 1/4” longer than the pattern states. Now it’s time for the ruffle and 632 stitches!

Done and I love it! It makes a circle when it’s folded in half. Beautiful, full skirt. It used 97g of the off white yarn and 79g of the grape yarn for a total of 176g.
