Notes

Got 13 sts/4” with 5.5mm needles. Got gauge with 5mm needles.
Got the first one done, except for seaming. I’ll do that last. The stretchy bind off I tried on it worked really well. It’s really stretchy and doesn’t flare like a couple others I’ve tried. It’s called the Extra Stretcy, No Flare Bind Off For Ribbing, English Style (Lori’s twisty Bind Off). I’m adding the link so I can find it again. wink And it’s so simple. That’s the best part!

Looked at quite a few YouTube videos and various websites looking for a flat seam as my dad has diabetes so I wanted no irritation. Ended up doing the whip stitch from the wrong side per designer’s suggestion. Worked really well, nice flat seam. I should’ve known that she’d have figured out the best seaming method, shouldn’t have lost faith in her! wink

Could’ve been done sooner but only got in a few hours each day. The slippers weighed 121g. Oh, well, Cecil wasn’t going to Portage until to today anyway. Yay, they fit him! grinning
