My mom needed something to carry her phone around without using her hands after her hip operation. I used the pattern for the Lil Scissors Neck Bag. It happened to be the right circumference so I just made this one longer. After the cabling was finished I knit 1 round where I decreased one stitch above each of the cables. I finished the top with 1/2” (12mm) of ribbing instead of the flap and button.
It’s 3” wide x 6-3/8” long. The I-cord strap is 24-1/2” long. It used 26.3g - 44.5m (48.7yds).
After stretching by using its 7” long. The I-cord strap is 33” long. After washing and drying it’s 6-1/2” long. The I-cord strap is 29” long.
My mom wanted another phone holder so I made her one in the colour Passion. I made it the same width but one cable shorter because of stretching. I also knit the I-cord shorter. It’s 3” wide X 5-3/4” long. The I-cord is 20” long. It weighed 22.2g.
Kara wants a phone holder in Passion to hold her phone when she has her knee operation. Her cellphone is bigger so I’m going to make it slightly bigger. It’s 3-3/4” wide x 5-3/4’ long. I used 3 sts for the I-cord and made it 20-1/2” long. It weighs 29.5g.
