Knit as a heartfelt thank you for Henry & Barbara who have “adopted” our daughter at college. They’ve been a blessing to her and to us many times over during the last 4 years.

Three small mods: Knit on smaller needles, I knit 2 rows (2 ridges) before beginning the pattern and I added 2 stitches so there is a 2 stitch border on either side of the pattern.

This worked up pretty quickly and I liked how there was only 1 row that was purled--it made it a lot more interesting to knit. I charted the pattern too.

FYI--there’s a double YO in one row.
