I finished this actually a long time ago but my computer crashed so I’m just now getting around to posting the pics.
This was a great scarf to knit, I loved trying herringbone! The yarn was ridiculously beautiful, and the scarf is so warm and squishy! I think this did a great job displaying the varigation in the yarn without it looking too crazy.
The single skein was huge and more than enough for a giant scarf plus tassels.
I used some scrap brown yarn and crocheted the free edges, then made 6 tassels with the leftover Yowza (wrapped around the short axis of a DVD case to make this size tassels).

I broke my own rule and impulse bought this yarn while visiting my parents without a project in mind… the colors were just too amazingly Autumn. I really have never liked using variegated yarn, though… I have always heard herringbone stitch and linen stitch are both great uses for veriegated yarn, and since I’ve never tried herringbone before thought this would be a great use…
I wanted it to be extra big and squishy, so I upsized my needles from the pattern (and I already have loose gauge). I cast on the recommended number though, 264.
