I guess I met my deadline of no project on the kneedles for over a year! It’s come out beautiful, all ends are woven in, it just needs a gentle block.
The Hazel knit Ethereal yarn is wonderful, it’s soft, breathable, but heavy enough that the sweater has a lovely drape.
This is my first sweater in about 6 years, and it’s given me the itch for more!

** July 30, 2017**

While I’m away from home for 3 months, I’ve had nothing to do when I’m not working except knit like the next ice age is coming… I’ve had my eye on the Ravello sweater for a while and I finally splurged and spent a sht-ton of money on a bunch of beautiful merino/cashmere fingering-weight yarn…. should be worth it in the end.
Alterations I’m planning on: extra long sleeves with thumb holes, and longer body. Stripey-goodness here we come!
