Really nice hat!
Mods:

• German twisted cast on - see video;
• knit in the round;
• knit the ribbing longer, to 7cm total;
• extended the decrease area as well, from 9 to 13 rows.

Had 3.5 yds of yarn left, so crocheted a doodle to go on the side. No yarn left whatsoever!

Liked the yarn a lot - so soft and slightly fluffy!
Beautiful color - greyish blue with a hint of periwinkle.
The hat grew after washing and became quite slouchy, which is OK with me :)
