Notes

The smaller hat was cast on and knit with a 4. Too small. The larger was cast on with 4 then knit with 5. Just right.

I used a different cast on than the directions called for. I did the normal 2 strand cast on and then just picked up and knit the ear flaps in on the first round. I pearled that first row in an attempt to keep it from curling. It worked after hat was blocked.

Design is the Wesleyan shield where Jordan will be rowing in the fall.
