The age old question. What to get my boyfriends parents for Christmas? This was our first Christmas together. I wanted to get them something useful and homemade.

They love to sit in the TV room with a beer or a glass of wine, so I always saw that they had coasters on the tables, so I remembered back 2 years ago when I created this awesome coaster pattern (which to my complete surprise, people have been making!!), so I decided to make some coasters.

I made them 4 coasters in the same color for their TV room. They loved them!! When Mike (boyfriend) and I went home for Valentines Day to surprise them, the coasters were on the side table with drinks on them! (And I know they didn’t just put them there to make me happy because they didn’t know we were coming! I consider that a success).

This pattern is really great, and the yarn is great for socking up any condensation that accumulates on a can of soda, beer, whatever!
