I am going to a place where is snows, and as a girl who has always lived in hot weather, it is now time to knit cold weather knits! These socks are perfect for cold weather and boots and snow. And seasons, sweet seasons.

4/18/14 - Almost finished with sock 1! After putting it aside for awhile (I am a scaredycat since I had never made socks before!) I continued working and I am loving it! Almost done with number one, then onto number 2!

I wish that everyone had one foot and one hand, it would make a knitters life so much easier!!

4/22/14 - Sock 1 finished!! Finally finished the first one! It is a little bit loose, most likely since I should have used a size 1 needle instead of a size 2! I also decided to shorten the heel flap from 3 inches to 2 and a half because apparently I have small heels. Now to cast on for sock two!

9/2/14 - Just started heel flap! Debating my decision to shorten the heel flap. Should I keep them the same or not?

9/11/14 - Finally finished second sock. After 2 years of working on this project and more like 5 years of having the yarn and needles… IT IS DONE!
