Worked bib up to the point where you make the ties but instead of making ties, did this:
Cast on 30 sts, starting at the upper right of the bib, work K2, K2 ribbing, joining the bib to the cast on. Worked ribbing for about 8 rounds. Weave in tails, securing the joins.

Basically, I took the Easy Stay On Bib pattern and merged it with this stockinette bib pattern, because I like how the one slips over the head and I like how the other is shaped around the chin. The best of both!
