Notes

Got gauge with us 8 for main body. Had to use us 9 for sleeves.

Did two full repeats of back chart + additional 28 rows before ribbing.

Did full front charts for both sides exactly as written.

Sleeves - went up needle and did 2 full chart repeats + 7 additional rows. Then switched to us8 for ribbing. Did 32 sts + 22 rounds of ribbing before binding off.

I would say that this pattern is definitely intermediate/advanced. Lots and lots of charting with cables, lace and different textured stitches, as well as a bunch of different techniques - armscye, buttonband button holes, picking up sts, provisional cast on, etc!

All of that said, this was my first finished cabled cardigan! The charts get easier to read and memorize the symbols as you go.

Note for all finished measurements against schematic! All measurements are flat! For reference this is on my bust of a size 56”.

A: 32”
B: 28”
C: 33”
D: 11.5”
E: 10”
F: 22” sleeve circumference -added stitches in final pattern for larger sleeve.
G: 7” circumference
H: 18” - 3” long cuff included.
I: 16” including button band.
