Notes

The provisional cast on worked fine for me, but getting the pattern started was a little tough and hard to follow. So I started over with a regular cast on. When I got to the end, I just bound off as I would a normal scarf, but then left an extra long tail to seam the two ends together. I used an end-to-end mattress stitch, which can be a little tricky with the lace components of this pattern. It’s actually quite difficult to find on the right side unless you are looking for it.

This is coming along nicely. I am about half way through and I am just now starting to actually memorize the pattern! I love how it looks so I am motivated to get this done quickly now.

This is blocking now. Once I figured out the pattern and got it memorized, then the scarf just flew off my needles. I used a heavier weight yarn than what the pattern called for, so I also scaled up the needle a touch too, since I was looking to keep an open/airy feel to the fabric.
