I’m ignoring the instructions to crochet in the back loops. I started that way, but it was taking too long, and I’m on a deadline. Hope it doesn’t alter the stretchiness of the finished shawl too much.

My gauge must have been WAY off. This shawl is nice, but it’s about half the size it is supposed to be. Maybe some of that is down to the change I made in the July 28th note, but it’s significantly smaller.

I also wish the colors I’d chosen faded better.

This is fine for casual wear, but it’s not going to work for the formal occasion I’d envisioned.
