Notes

I made double soles for these clogs, wanted the extra comfort. I ran out of the brown for the soles and when I went to Michaels to buy more, they were out! I purchased a variegated color, which I believe is called forest, and used the brown as a lining.

I cut a 3 yard long piece of yarn to sew the clogs together; used a blanket stitch to begin as I felt it was more decorative and then switched to a whip stitch when I reached the side.

Felting was a challenge: it took over an hour and multiple loads before it felted to where you could not see the stitches. I finally put them in a pot of hot water on the stove, which sacrificed a little of the color, but did the trick.

Five days later, the clogs are still not dry! I intend to embroider a design once they dry.

The bottom picture shows the pieces before assembly, the second picture from the bottom shows the clogs before felting. The middle picture features the bottom of the clogs with Tulip Slick Dimensional Fabric Paint for non-slip finishing. I put it on a little heavy!
