I used all three of the CMYK Sock Lab colors held together, making a bulky weight, for this improvised headband.

I used the short-rows concept of the Calorimetry headband, just from memory, having made several of those like 12+ years ago.

It’s joined in the round (instead of buttoned); I worked 2x2 rib all the way around for four rounds, then I did short rows, then worked all the way around for another four rounds.

It’s TOO BIG, but since it’s so stretchy, it stays on my head well enough. I did 88 stitches; if I decide to make another (I probably will--it’s fun!) I’ll try 72 stitches.
