This was the most challenging shawl I’ve done to date. It is absolutely beautiful and I’m glad I kept up my stamina to finish it. And I didn’t use life lines! That was pretty crazy, but when you have 600 stitches on the needles, I find life lines a pain to work around. I found the top part of the shawl to be pretty boring. If I do this over again, I’ll shorten this section. The bottom section of lace I thought was pretty difficult, but it is easy to memorize (seems contradictory)…This is one of the few patterns I would probably tackle again - maybe with fingering yarn next time.
