so excited to begin. Anna’s designs are just so

a little slow moving after the yoke for me. after the yoke the short rows are made to raise the back neckline. the lice pattern for the body starts after the short rows. I had already decided i would begin the lice pattern as soon as the short rows started but my concentration hasn’t been on form so i decided it would be easier to duplicate stitch them afterwards….. then it occurred to me that because i chose to use the tonal Spincycle yarn as the darker contrast color i would want the lice to start at the same point in the skein where i finished the yoke to keep the color changes intact. so prior to knitting the body in pattern i worked the duplicate stitches then continued with the skein knitting the body…

no bust darts. extended body.

a note about the Spincycle yarn… while i loved working with it the full skein i used got dangerously thin in multiple areas.
