I started this toy as a monkey but it ended up as an orangutan (I added the limbs and tail to body as I made it therefore made it difficult to dispose the tail later on)…

Now, its name is MONGUTAN… Oh, well…this modern genetic engineering…

I’m sure baby Leon wouldn’t mind having a monkey with an orangutan head or rather an orangutan with a tail

I held the yarn double: one string of fur yarn together with one of 8ply acrylic.

I simplified the feet and hands by adapting them from the Extra Large Monkey by Sharon Ojala

Length / height: it turned out about 40 cm long
