Totally and utterly inspired by the magnificent Saturatedlifecro’s Arizona Sunset blanket!
Following both her interpretations :
-the colours and
-the rule of 5.

I used mainly stash yarn about 11 colours, all acrylic 8 ply. Unfortunately, didn’t keep track of the quantities, but when I reached the blue sections I used over 100 grams each colour. Also I didn’t use all the colours you can see in the added photo.

I stopped at 52 rounds with 33 dc’s on a side and (2dc, 2ch, 2dc) in the corner.

Made a border on round 53 similar to my previous blanket: skip 1 space; 1 sc; skip 1 space; 1 shell made of 4 dc in same stitch; … repeat around; for corners I made 5 dc’s in each point, for valleys I decreased same as in main pattern. I ended up with 8 shells per side and 5 dc’s in corners.

It’s wide over 1.50 cm across.
