Totally and utterly inspired by the magnificent Saturatedlifecro’s Arizona Sunset blanket!
Following both her interpretations heart_eyes :
-the colours and
-the rule of 5.
-almost Ditto here :)

I used mainly stash yarn about 11 colours, some acrylic 8 ply, some 12 ply. Unfortunately, didn’t keep track of the quantities, but when I reached the blue sections I used over 100 grams each colour. I estimated I used about 600-650 grams of yarn…

I stopped at 52 rounds with 33 dc’s on a side and (2dc, 2ch, 2dc) in the corner on the last round.

Made a border, using a kind of tinsel yarn, on round 53, of regular Sc’s following the established pattern with 3 sc’s in each point.

It’s wide over 1.50 cm across, with 170 cm from point to point after light blocking.
