I used 4.5 mm hook
I increased the body just up to 54 sc instead of 60 sc and when I reached 54 sc’s I worked next round (rnd 10) in BLO (back loop only) for sitting better. Also I placed a small bag with rice on the bottom for better stability.
For the hat, once I reached 48 sc, next round I worked FLO (front loop only) for a better brim definition (I thought).
For the beard, I used about 24 strings of cca 30 cm that I added around the nose area. I have split them after I finished.
I added the nose as I crocheted the body on rnds 28 (3sc) and 29 (next 3 sc)
Final measurements:
about 21-22 cm tall with the hat on and about 10 cm in diameter
… I should’ve probably trimmed the beard more … but I already gifted it away!
