5-27: I have one more row of solid plus the garter edge to go, and I LOVE it. This is a highly enjoyable knit--just the right amount of concentration vs. zoning out. I might have to make more.

I’ve been helping one of my students/customers with a couple of these blankets and they came out so cute--so when I saw the Bon Bon yarn at HCW, I couldn’t resist. I already had 3 colors of the dyed cotton (2 blues and a carrot/tangeriney one) and one of the bon bon colors seemed to fit that scheme relatively well, so I bought a couple of balls of it along with the red. I really like how it’s working up so far.

The plan is for the sections to go:
red/ice blue garter edge
orange/pom
blue/pom
orange/pom
red/pom
orange/pom
blue/pom
orange/pom
red/pom
orange/pom
ice/blue garter edge

This will make it 1 rep short but I think I can live with that. i cast on 106 sts and it looks like it will be about 26” wide.
