Notes

I like wearing knitted skirts so I had to design one, inspired by Alexander McQueen. To create an extra dimension to the pattern, I choose cables. Instead of elastic, I preferred to insert boots laces so that you can adjust the length when you use it. The yarn quality was important so that it hangs neatly and keeps it shape, so Berroco’s Ultra Alpaca Fine with a small percentage of nylon was ideal.

Skirt is knitted in 6 panels and then sewn together. Shoe laces is inserted into hem for a comfortable tie up. Each panel has a centred Braid cable with a Ascending Tulips on each side, divided by reverse stocking st and edged by double seed st.
