28 sts and 38 rows in Plisse pattern using 3.25 mm/US 3 needle measures 10 cm/4” square, after blocking (naturally pleated).
Notes: The tunic is knitted in pieces and seamed, from bottom up. The neckband is worked in the round with the stockinette stitch part as a double band that is seamed to the wrong side. A circular needle is used at the bottom of the body due to the stitch number and when working the tucks, as it is easier.
Tuck placement: The Body tuck is placed 3 (3, 3.5, 3.5, 4) (2, 3, 2.5, 3.5) cm/1.25 (1.25, 1.5, 1.5, 1.5) (0.75, 1.25, 1, 1.5)“ below the waist. Adjust to the waist by working the plissé pattern for 1 or 2 more repeats (2.5 or 5 cm/1 or 2”) or reducing the stockinette stitch part before the armhole. Or opposite if you want the tuck lower down.
