This Tweed vest, knitted in Thomas Kvist Yarns soft Delicious Tweed, has a long flattering and warm back with a short front. The pattern is folded triangles, knitted as an expanding rib before folding, designed by Lynne Barr and well suited to this beautiful yarn with cashmere and angora.

The triangles in the pattern are made by yarn overs which are knitted through the back of the loop on the following row. Triangles are folded over the remaining sts on patt row 9 and 19. Stitch number varies on all rows, except on row 1 and 20.

Thomas Kvist is now an agent for the Italian yarn brand Monidal - whom makes New York a tweed yarn similar to the original Delicious Tweed. See top left corner of last photo.
