Notes on colour

For this project I used 4 different skeins in a basic fade. The first two skeins were the same colour from different batches & therefore varied quite a bit, but created a perfect effect to achieve a gentle fade.
Combining the above skeins with a single thread of Kidsilk throughout makes for the softest & fluffest ombré & really unites all the colours into a single fabric.
I used the same colour throughout only varying in the very last section to a blueish Kidsilk.

For the colourwork I combined a deep red lace with a midnight blue Kumo. This makes for the lovely inky darkness without being flat.( I will provide close up photograph to illustrate)

The result is a dreamy, light, cloud-like fabric that is super soft & warm to wear.
