Little Mr wanted a hat for his Valentine’s day picnic . He picked his own colours.

This pattern is a really great project for those times when you want to knit but are not able to focus on detailed knit patterns because of work or whatever. But, like me, you always want to knit.
I keep it in a bag at school and knit when I’m not on break duty. The finished piece is always really good.

Modifications

I k2tog with the cast on round when I am finished the ribbing. This creates a nice snug fold that doesn’t move around.

I also finish the last round with a CDD of the 4(x 3) decrease stitches and one stitch x4 mc stitches between = 8 stitches. I then pull the yarn through and weave in the ends.

Yardage
I have made 2 hats with the two 100g skeins and still have 30g left of each.
