Notes

Gauge 4mm: 24sts/10cm
Gauge 4,5mm: 20sts/10cm + 30rows/10cm (unwashed)

CO for size S with 4mm first. Decided to start over again with 4,5mm since my knitted fabric was too tight. Made another swatch with 4,5 and washed it.

Not sure if I will love or hate this project: Frogged one half done sweater I startet over one year ago with this yarn since it tourned out too big and not fitting to me at all. Now the second attempt to make something beautiful to wear.

20.10.2016

Nearly finished increases for arm and front. Shoulder looks somewhat rectangular, I am not so happy with that. Size seemed to fit at least. The yarn is so unstretchy, its not a pleasure to knit, always too tight on the needle.

24.10.2016

Modification: at point of cast on for front panel I knit on with front panel increases for another 6 rows(= 3 inc), then cast on remaining front sts (12-3=9sts) on each side.
Finished sleeve increases.

Modification in waist shaping:
- after dec for waist shaping I cont with 14 rows straight down before cont with increases

The last dec row for waist shaping ended under my breast (12cm from underarm cast on). It did not make sense to me to start now with incs and create a A-shape. Since the pattern sketch indicated a tailored waist I knitted 14 rows without dec rows (17cm from underarm cast on). Then started inc part of pattern.

29.11.2016

Finished both sleeves. Will adjust length at the end.
Knit body 30cm length from underarm, start ribbing with 4,0mm.

16.01.2017

Knitted sleeves serverat times again, they were either too tight or too loose. Knitted neck hemline upwards to fill the gap, because I was freezing with that low hemline. All between I washed and blocket it. Two times!. Just need to attach the buttons.

I am quite unsatisfied with the color. I bought the yarn years ago at a time I liked purple. But not any more. Additionally it seems that this purple has a slight warm touch and warm colors just not flattering me.

Last chance is to dye it. I will dye a sample first and hope it will work out.

11.02.2017

Finally I sewed the buttons. The fit is quite well, I am really surprised!
