This was a perfect first sweater project: it was quick, easy, and it looks awesome.

I played around with sooo many pattern alterations, but in the end I only did two little ones: I did 12 rows (instead of 10) to get length on the bottom part of the body, and I used the size 13 needles for all of the ribbed parts (the neck, sleeve cuffs, and hem).

If I hadn’t messed around with all of those alterations, I probably could’ve finished this sweater in about 1/3 of the time. In the end, I did the finishing exactly a month after I started swatching.

I finished it just in time to wear once or twice before it got too warm, but can’t wait to put this on on really cold days next winter.
