The wording in this particular pattern was a little bit more confusing .. so .. making my own notes to make it understand easier incase i ever want to make another one . Beautiful sweater but i wish the wording was a bit better ..

Increase round
Round 5 : ( k3 , mlL , work as pattern to 3 sts before side marker , m1R , k3 , slide marker ) x2 ---- 114 sts
Followed by working 4 rounds WITHOUT increasing in pattern , alternating between purl and slip stitch each round .
Total sts after this 4 rounds -- 114 sts

Repeat the increase round followed by 4 rounds without increase above for 3 more times . ---- 126 sts total

repeat * to * (increase round followed by 4 knit rounds ) - 134 sts

So couple days ago decided to try it on as i was about to start the sleeve . Well it didn’t even fit , wouldn’t even go into my body . And no it wasn’t because of the body of the sweater .. it was due to the bind off after ribbing was not stretchy enough for me to slide through .
The thing is when it says “ bind off in ribbing’ i didn’t think about making stretchy bind off . it would be better in pattern if it says “ make sure it’s stretchy bind off “ DUH ..

was kinda annoyed actually ..

So since it was also bottom up sweater , the mistake was way way early of the project .. so there is no way for me to tink back one by one .. i cut the ribbing , i started tinking stitches by stitches when i got closer to the bind off . No life line needed .. i caught all the stitches after that .

This project has a mess all over it .. i forgot to change to smaller needle to bind off . I did the stretchy bind off obviously .. then i picked up stitches and started ribbing , after 2 rows i just realized that i forgot to use smaller needle . Well .. i tinked back only the ribbing and used smaller needle .

Later on after finished the ribbing i then realized this was supposed to be k1p1 ribbing instead of k2p2 .. whatever .. i might just leave it as is .. if i have plenty yarn left by the time i finished the sleeves .. i might fix it , otherwise whatever .. don’t care .

It’s unfortunate since the yarn is quite nice to wear ! but not fun to tink back

After finished decreasing the sleeves , i added 12 rounds instead of 10 rounds pattern calls for .

Another thing , when binding off the neckline ..it would’ve been nicer if the pattern mentions what kind of bind off instead of mentioning .. “ any stretchy bind off ..not too tight , not too loose ..”
I ended up just doing k2 , k2togbl .

I was expecting this too have more positive ease but I think my problem was the needle size . I use smaller than what it calls for since we don’t have that size here in the US . The sleeves are perfect though ..maybe next time I’ll make another one with bigger needle size .

I forgot to mention how I love the look of this knit picks wonderfluff !!
Only thing I dislike was when tinking ..and frogging is almost impossible to do with this yarn . But I love the halo look and it’s so soft and fluffy and not itchy at all to wear and I’m usually very picky and sensitive to any itchiness from yarns .
