Notes

I knit these in three days even with the beads. I love these!!! The color makes them look so Celtic. This yarn color is hard to see to knit, but I used my addi lace needles. The great points and shiny brass were perfect for this color yarn. The first four rows are a little slow going, but then it’s a snap to knit. And I had enough yarn left over to knit two pair. I used a DMC 10 steel crochet hook to set the beads, but I would love to find a hook of the same diameter with a deeper hook. My knitter friend Lucia, for whom the pattern is named, has some antique steel hooks with lovely deep grooves in the hook end. Beads are #6 Japanese beads with lovely large holes. I highly recommend Be Dazzled in Nashville for all your bead needs. Great selection and great service, plus online ordering.
