I found it easier to handle to fold down and pin the front sections, while I knit the back.

Just for fun I did the center 9 ribbing stitches in k every other row.

I showed my husband how much prettier the right side of this ribbing is compared to the wrong side and he couldn’t see the difference. It just pops out to me and am I ever glad to be through that section.

Took me quite a few tries to get my gauge swatch. Was glad that wooden US 2 gave me both row and stitch count to match pattern.

Notes

I am surprised that the back and front are not symmetrical:

3 repeats 4 repeats back 4 repeats 3 repeats
4 repeats 3 repeats front 3 repeats 4 repeats.

I’ve knit quite a few of her patterns and she never makes mistakes, so I’m guessing this is part of her design. After finishing the sweater I can really see why she did the repeats this way!

I do believe that the armscye metric measurements are incorrect because 17 cm does not equal 8 3/4 inches.

I knit the sleeve body parts 14 inches to fit me better.

This was such a delightful knit, am sad to see it finished.
