Notes

I think I’ve gotten a little carried away making these headbands. I can’t stop!

I still can’t wrap my brain around how you twist something twice and end up with a flat headband on the bias, but I never was an ace at advanced math. The bias fabric is wonderful for holding its shape as well as visual effect. I love these!

The golden honey Chasing Rabbits headband is my favorite, and I’m sure the ivory cashmere one will be Meghan’s favorite. Other yarns I used were single skeins of stash, mostly non-superwash wools.

If you don’t like grafting or kitchener stitch, this pattern is not for you. The knitting is mindless, but it’s a lengthy graft (takes me 1-1/2 hours).

1/2020 - Still using up stash and sending headbands to Chicago. My favorite ones are with non-superwash wool.

I love the photo of little Theo donning a cashmere Torus!
