my second pair of mittens. i’ve been wanting to knit from the book my friend gave me in Iceland, Knitting With Icelandic Wool, from Cynthia Leplar.

i had trouble with the thumb so asked another friend Lára Þórarinsdóttir for help! i know she’s made several of this pattern. back on track and now another pair of lovely mittens!

modifications: i changed the cuff to a latvian braid.

Léttlopi wool used:

9434 ~ crimson red
1413 ~ lilac heather
9419 ~ ocean blue
1404 ~ glacial blue heather
1406 ~ spring green heather
9264 ~ mustard
1420 ~ murky
1410 ~ orange
