i loved making this shawl. the lace patterning is easily memorizable and intuitive. if i lost my place the center double decrease is so easy to see in this wool (and dk weight) it would serve as my north star.

i’m not sure what happened but i ran short of yarn…when i could see this was going to be true i ended the chart on row 50 (i think it was there) and just continued with the finishing. ending with only a few yards left, so glad it all worked out. i don’t think it makes a difference to integrity of the design….

this kit came as a gift and seems it is destined to be one as well. i hope the recipient feels the love knitted in.
