I needed something to do while I wait for my knitpicks yarn order to arrive, when i will be starting Sundry. I am in love with the one that stormyk9 made called DOGGIE LIPS, and want to make one for myself. I wanted something to have with me while I wait for my son to get his wisdom teeth out on Monday. I originally was using this yarn for something else, but just didn’t work out. This time the yarn and pattern just feel good together. I know it won’t look like the designers as the yarn is a heavier weight, but I am in love with it anyway.
June 15th I am up to 86 stitches which means I am ready to do my next eyelet section. Couldn’t be happier! LOVING THIS ALL THE WAY! The pattern, the yarn, awesome together!
June 22 - my knitpicks order arrived the other day, so this projects on hold, till I get my Sundry done. Then, for sure I will be back to finish this. Too SWEET to leave for long!
Dec 23rd -been finished for quite a while already, however I still need to take a finished photo to post. This was a simple project, giving very satisfying results. I will definitely be making another, but I will be using thinner yarn next time, so that it can be worn all year round.
