Swatched on 5mm needles continental = 20.5-21sts/4”
Didn’t really like the fabric on 5mm
My 4.5mm needle is a little narrow according to my needle gauge so will go up a size and knit on these smaller needles.

Working Notes

9/7/15 - So I’ve been knitting for five days, nearly finished my third ball of yarn and I think it’s going to be too big… I re-checked my gauge and I’m getting gauge on 4.5mm needles (so my original swatch was bullshit!) which means my finished sweater (size 48”) will have 4”+ positive ease at my full bust which is 1-2” more than the pattern specifies, and far too big. The next size down is 44.75” which gives me only .75” ease at my full bust and 3.75” of ease at my high bust so I think I’m going to take a deep breath and rip out what I’ve done and re knit a size down. Sob!

20/08/15 - Completed the front piece.

30/08/15 - Completed back piece.

19/09/15 - Finished the second sleeve and sewn one arm in.

27/09/15 - Sewn second sleeve in and completed icord bind off on the collar. Only side seams left!
