I chose to do the option of 2x2 ribbing. I changed the needle size to US 15/10 mm and start the spiral every 3 stitches.

I also ran out of my blue (stash yarn), so I completed the hat in orange. I like the extra flair. I’m debating on the pompom. After I weave ends and try it on, I will decide.
