I made these for Easter to hold some dyed eggs that I made with my kids when they were small. They don’t take up much yarn, and I just used some left over bits from my stash. The cotton and the small size of this project keeps the egg holders stiff and they’ll stand on their own.

Easter Egg Holders Pattern

Using set of four 3mm DPNs:
CO 28 sts
Divide onto 3 needles: 9, 9 & 10 sts
Join in the round
Knit 10 rounds in stockinette stitch
BO loosely
Weave in ends.
