This was an easy hat to knit. I made the adult size (20 - 22”) and it fits me perfectly (if not just a tad loose, which I prefer). The lace from the yarnovers didn’t show up as well in my hat as it did in the sample, but not sure why (maybe the sample hat was stretched out more?). Also the top of my hat was quite puckered compared to what looks like a very smooth-fitting hat in the sample. This may be because I used a heavier yarn than the fingering weight suggested. But it looks good when I wear it :)
