I knit this Tiny Bride & Groom from my latest knitting book “Teeny-Tiny Mochimochi” by Anna Hrachovec. The projects are really cute! I am attending an anniversary party for my husband’s great aunt & uncle for their SEVENTIETH(!!) wedding anniversary. Since they obviously do not want any gifts, I thought this would be the perfect little “tiny” to attach to their card. I knit them from mercerized cotton. I added the details of eyes and bowtie with embroidery thread. I also added some beads: a gold bead for each hand for their wedding bands, and some clear beads across the top of the veil, and a little flower bead for the bride. I also created the top hat for the groom as I thought he needed a bit more pizzazz. I decided not to add the hair as I thought they looked good without it (and I also thought I might make a mess of it with the long stitches). I think they turned out really well, and it almost hurts to part with them. I spent quite a few hours on these tinies as they are fussy to knit since you have to knit tightly so the fibre fill doesn’t show through the stitches.
