Yarn is soft and easy to work with for the shawl. Pattern is easy the variegated yarn makes me want to knit to see what colors will be where. mkr and mkl on right side for increase. There will be lace later in shawl it is an easy lace . I did use stitch markers for the lace . I am a Happy knitter, Linda
