I finally got it finished! I was going to make little buckeye leaf stickers out of felt, but I’m going to forget that. I would have gotten this done a while ago if I hadn’t been sick.

Let’s see if remembered what all I’ve done. I had cast-on 30 stitches in the gray and followed the instructions for that. I then cast-on two white stitches and picked up one stitch on the edge of the gray. For the left side (facing me), I used a SSK instead of the k2tog because it was more symmetrical. I then cast-on five stitches and picked up one stitch on each side. The black stripe i used some I love this yarn! sport weight and embroidered it on (amazing how that changed it) For the earflaps, I followed Amelia’s instructions and made a chin strap. Now to show my cousin and pray it fits.

So annoyed right now - I accidentally made it fit me! I’m going to try again in the smallest size. This pattern makes it hard to determine size.
