SUMMARY: Guesstimate on yardage. Self-dyed yarn with Kool-Aide and Wilton’s Cake Gels. Dying “recipe” on my stash page. Added 2 inches because I don’t like the cropped look. I made the 18 month/20” chest size even though she is only 18 inches in the chest. I want this to fit during the winter. MAYBE with the extra length it will fit Winter 2013-14 too (fingers crossed). Emilie is 13 months now.

The color is kind of washed out in my pics of the FO alone. I had to boost the reds in Photoshop because my camera has a tough time with purple (as do most). Oddly, I didn’t have this problem much with the pics of my daughter in the cardigan. Those are unedited.

DETAILS:
5/20 - finally able to pick this back up
7/4 - done with body. Making it about 2 inches longer than pattern. I thought it would be too much, but it looks like it could easily be longer.
7/6 - done with first arm. Made slightly longer than pattern says.
7/10 - finished second arm. Just needs blocking!
