Notes

Baby mobile
The animals are secured with little belts and velcro fastener: So it’s possible to remove them and later putting them back on.

For the little balls I used the pattern of a 10-rounds ideal sphere and a 2.5mm hook. (Total of 16 balls)

Daphne the giraffe:
Hook: 2mm
Used a different pattern for the horns and ears.

Ears (2x):
1) 6sc in Magic Ring (6)
2) inc x 6 (12)
3-8) 12sc (12)
Fold ear in half, secure with 1sl. Fasten Of. Leave a tail.

Horns (2x):
1) 6sc in Magic Ring (6)
2) inc x 6 (12)
3-4) 12sc (12)
5) dec x 6 (6)
6-8) 6sc (6)
Fasten off, leave tail to attach to body.

Rodrigo the monkey:
Hook : 2.5mm
I’ve got the idea of this little troublemaker here:
Mister Miller, the Problem Solver by Barbara Strasser
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/mister-miller-the...

Mister Miller is a cutie but he was too big for this project. So I used the pictures as an inspiration and tried to crochet a smaller version of him.

Millie the elephant.
Hook: 2.5mm
Used a different pattern for the ears
Chain 2
1) In the 2nd chain from hook, crochet 4sc. Ch 1 and turn.
2) 2 sc in each st, repeat (8). Ch 1 and turn.
3) 1 sc, 2 sc in the next st, repeat (12). Ch 1 and turn.
4) 2 sc, 2 sc in the next st, repeat (16). Ch 1 and turn.
5) 3 sc, 2 sc in the next st, repeat (20). Ch 1 and turn.
6) 4 sc, 2 sc in the next st, repeat (24). Ch 1 and turn.
7) Crochet 24 slst.
Close and break the yarn, leaving a long tail to sew to body.

Bonaparte the lion:
Hook: 3.5mm
I used two strands of the yellow yarn to match the gauge.
Loved the pattern because there was no sewing together in the end!
