After 3a. 33 grams used. Approximately 2 grams for the 91+176+176 increase portion. Then 12 grams from the 12 row chart.

3A once. 3B to row 46. Then chart 4. After row 46 have used 43 grams.

Ten rows of clue 4 done and used 53 grams. Have about 59 grams left.

I did centered double decrease in chart 4 and that was a mistake. Should have followed pattern. The centered decreases make prominent ridge.

Another nice shawlette done by simplifying this pattern and modifying it for fingering rather than lace weight.

Bind off for this and my other Monica shawls is
K1 (K1, slide both stitches to left needle, K2tog TBL)
Bind off took approximately 4 grams.

I calculated number of stitches per clue so I knew I had enough to knit this modification. In fact, I calculated that I would end with more than five grams left over so I repeated chart 5 lines 93-94 once. Voila, a little bigger shawlette and only three grams left over.

It blocked to 48 inches across, 20 inches deep. A great size for this shape.
