Captain Hook and Rumplestiltskin always seemed to be searching for elusive squid ink, to cast/break spells…this yarn is a gorgeous squid ink purple!

I’ve wanted to knit this lovely shawl forever!!! (It’s been in my queue since 2017, and the yarn in stash about as long!!!)

and thinking about magical things, I’m always amazed blocking transforms a knitted lump into something quite exquisite!
