This is a fabulous pattern. I did it all in the round, which is a happy thing for me. I stuffed it with flat poly batting sheets cut into strips so that it will be less wispy.

I am making this with the following modifications:
1) No ears (just ignore ears)
2) Changing color at bottom of body to knit on panties instead of knitting separate. Switch yarn color at row 46 of body, complete body using this color. Omit panties
3) Wider arms & no thumbs. Adjust pattern as follows:
CO 17 stitches.
R 1-44: k all 17 sts.
R 45: k8, kfb, k8. 18sts.
R 46: k7, kfb, k2, kfb, k7. 20 sts.
R 47-55: k all sts.
R 56: k2tog 10 times. 10 sts.
R 57: k2tog 5 times. 5 sts.

4) Wider legs. CO 19 stitches. Wing it from there.

5) Ponytails for hair. I embroidered the base on and then created tassles (as found in Stitch & Bitch). Then attached tassles.

6) Gave her a navel :)

7) Embroidered an M on her dress!
